"Knowledge without application is like a book that is never read."

-Christopher Crawford

There is no point in memorizing facts after facts and figures after figures if you do not use what you've learnt.

After all, don't we already have computers and databases?

The world does not need any more inferior human computers. The world needs more thinkers.

The world needs more people who can put that knowledge in their brain to good use, and make something for themselves, their society, and ultimately the world itself.

"Traditional education is based on facts and figures and passing tests - not on a comprehension of the material and its application to your life."

-Will Smith
