"In nine months, a group of children left alone with a computer in any language will reach the same standard as an office secretary in the West. I'd seen it happen over and over and over again." -Sugata Mitra A lot of people think they can't learn. Well, that's garbage. Educational Researcher Sugata Mitra once done an experiment called "The Hole in the Wall": embedding computers in different areas, from slums to villages, and see what would happen. What happened was remarkable: kids living in poverty, who did not even know English, were browsing the web within hours, and playing games, using complicated software, making music and so on within months. Some even learnt Pythagoras, Relativity, DNA structure, Biology and so on, and one family learnt how to speak English in a British accent with a speech-to-text engine. This proves one thing: anyone can learn, whatever they want to learn.
