Scalars and Vector
Scalars only represents magnitude, or the size of it, and this can be described by a number. Vectors have both direction and magnitude, and its descriptions all feature a number that shows its magnitude, and a direction.
Examples of Scalars: 5 m/s (speed)
1500 cm (length)
69 kg (mass)
48 degrees Celsius (temperature)
10000000000 megabytes (size) Examples of vectors (notice the direction!):
5N, backwards (force)
1500 m/s^2 (acceleration)
69 km/h, East (velocity)
48 miles, South (distance but it has a direction)
